Welcome to the Ethos API! If you're new to Ethos, welcome to the team and we're excited to have you!
The sad reality of this backend is that while it is competently secured and developed, neither myself nor
Scott are backend guys. Therefore, if you find something that could be improved let us know!
Accessing the API is pretty simple. You'll need a Facebook ID to create your RegisterUser object, passing it
to the Register endpoint. If all goes well, you'll be handed back an Ethos auth token! Save both this and the
facebook ID, they'll be passed in every header request to get and post data from the API.
Ethos is a free-speech platform that allows friends and communities express true and honest opinions anonymously, without fear of judgement or damage to existing relationships. Ethos strives to maintain a platform for healthy and honest discussion of any topic that the user wants! Ethos is based off of your existing friends list, so you know who you're talking to-- but you're still blind to exactly who it may be!
